DESCRIPTION:\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nWhat are the WIRV Awards? \r\n\r\nThe WIRV Awards recognise outstanding women, men and organisations in the restructuring and insolvency industry, including accountants, lawyers, bankers, advisors, and consultants who are based in Victoria.\r\n\r\nThe 2022 WIRV Awards feature four awards in the categories set out below:\r\n\r\n1. Female Young Gun\r\n\r\nThis category is open to females with up to 5 years’ experience in the insolvency and restructuring industry who have demonstrated an exemplary commitment to success in their careers.\r\n\r\n Click here to start the nomination process for the Female Young Gun Award.\r\n\r\n2. Outstanding Female\r\n\r\nThis category is open to females who are role models and have made a significant contribution to the insolvency and restructuring industry, including by promoting the advancement of women.\r\n\r\nClick here to start the nomination process for the Outstanding Female Award.\r\n\r\n3. Male Contributor to Change \r\n\r\n This category is open to all males in the insolvency and restructuring industry who use their position to support gender equality and promote the advancement of women within their business, the insolvency and restructuring industry and within the wider community.\r\n\r\nClick here to start the nomination process for the Male Contributor to Change Award.\r\n\r\n4. Gender Diversity Organisation of the Year\r\n\r\n This category is open to organisations who practise in the insolvency and restructuring industry that demonstrate a balance of gender diversity and commitment to progression of women within their business and more broadly within the industry.\r\n\r\nClick here to start the nomination process for the Gender Diversity Organisation of the Year Award.\r\n\r\nNomination process\r\n\r\nAll nominations are submitted to the WIRV Awards Committee and are strictly confidential. The WIRV Awards Committee will send the nominations to the independent panel of judges for review and scoring.\r\n\r\n Instructions on how to nominate are outlined on the forms available via the above links.  You can contact us via email with any questions.\r\n\r\nJudging panel\r\n\r\n The award winners are decided by an independent panel of judges, via a stringent list of judging criteria. This year we have a distinguished list of judges, including:\r\n\r\n 	Marelda Hibberd, Partner at Maddocks;\r\n 	Brett Warren, ASIC Senior Investigator, Small Business Engagement and Compliance Team; and\r\n 	Alice Ruhe, Partner at SMB Advisory and Registered Trustee & Liquidator.\r\n\r\n Make sure you nominate your colleagues or peers, or yourself by using the links above.\r\n\r\nNominations close on 12 July 2022.
