On 5 March 2025 WIRV held its annual International Women's Day Lunch at the Plaza Ballroom. With the themes of #marchingforward and #accelerateaction, the panel discussion, involving her Honour Justice Maree Kennedy judge of the Supreme Court of Victoria Court of Appeal, Lara Wiggins of KordaMentha; and Brendan Swift of Altus Lawyers was enlightening. Sharing their own unique experiences, learnings and views on how we can work together as industry and a profession to achieve equality for women. Moderated by Krystal Everitt of Cor Cordis who asked some tough questions of our panellists. It was a great opportunity for both junior and senior women of the industry to hear how they build resilience and thrive in high pressure situations. Thank you to all those who attended.
